Group Information
The Goulburn & District Art Society was established in 1956 and they were initially known as the Goulburn Art Club. Their mission was and still is "to foster art and culture in the Goulburn district".

Membership Information
Members enter many competitions, have their paintings hung in prestigious exhibitions such as the Blake and have been awarded prizes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Canberra and district shows. The society has influenced the work of many local artists and through their association with it, their works are much sought after.
Membership fee is $30 per annum.

Exhibitions
The society has held many exhibitions and competitions over the years which have attracted exhibitors from a much wider part of the state. They have three main art exhibitions each year; their Annual Art Show, a Winter Art Exhibition and a Rose Festival Exhibition.
