I was born and raised in Japan, and I started dancing since 11 years old. I went to the US for my university, planning to train my dancing. But, my life changed and I discovered the beauty of arts and designs. Then, I started taking art classes at Glendale Community College, CA and continued my study at California State University Long Beach, where I earned Bachelor Arts of Studio Arts. While I enjoyed learning about designing and making other arts such as textures, I was also attracted to charcoal drawings. I had exhibited my arts, which showed more pattern and textile works, at RAW artist show in Long Beach. Then, after I moved to Los Angeles, one of my friends asked me to draw her. As I was pleased to see her smile when she received my drawing, I started drawing portraits. I enjoy seeing how each person is different and becomes a part of arts. Also, I have been inspired by many people I drew as they all have different life and they have different life story. Currently, I am a dancer when I am not making arts. I love learning about the both, dance and art.
