About the Artist:

Katy Eather is an artist, designer and musician based in Sydney, Australia.

Her recent work explores the idea of impermanence and aims to create an empathy in the viewer towards the inevitable passing of all things.  She works across various mediums with her most prolific being oil painting and photography.

Her oil paintings are created with palette knife to deliberately reduce detail and be more abstract, leaving the work open to the viewers interpretation.
Her photography is colour graded to create enhanced vivid dreamlike colour resulting in vibrant, deeply rich coloured giclée pigment works.

Allister Eather is a contemporary landscape painter based in Sydney. His work explores the changing moods and colours of the Australian bush, in particular the mountains and valleys of the Snowy and Blue Mountains regions of NSW. He completed his Bachelor's Degrees in Visual Arts at the University of Newcastle majoring in Plant and Wildlife Illustration. After graduating he spent the next 2 years abroad before relocating to Melbourne where he launched a successful career in Graphic Design.

All roads have led back to Sydney where he continues to pursue his passion for art through his gouache, oil and watercolour work.
