Artist Background:

Although I rank myself as an amateur, I've always felt good with a pencil in my hand and I think I draw much better than I paint.

I completed an Art Certificate course at St. George TAFE many years ago, followed by a year at Sydney School of Art, then had a long break and went to what I call "the dark side" meaning I went into my own business.  Having retired very late in life, art was not on my agenda till much later.

I have been a member of various Art Societies; principally St. George but started back at Sutherland much earlier maybe pre Gwen Powning, and am currently a member of Continuum Art Society.
