Group Information
ASOC's members meet at the Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre; a wonderful space located at the end of Matora Lane off Young Street in Cremorne, Sydney, which is also where they hold and workshops.
The Society’s committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting held in September each year. Committee meetings are held throughout the year at Primrose Park and all members are invited to attend. Meetings are followed by a mini-workshop which is open to everyone, both members and non-members.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Becoming a member of the Australian Society of Calligraphers provides a range of benefits including:
- receiving our quarterly magazine ‘Colophon’ highlighting lettering arts news, articles and calligraphic works from both Australia and overseas

- 10% discount from The Art Scene West Ryde (excluding sale items)

New membership fee is $55.00
Annual membership renewal fee $50.00 due by 1st July each year.

Exhibitions
Their last event held recently in September, was titled ‘Preservation’ which was a combined exhibition showcasing the works of following three groups.
- Australian Textile Arts & surface design
- Australian Society of Calligraphers
- Primrose Paper Art.
Held at The Garden Gallery in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, it was a successful event enjoyed by the ASOC members and the many visitors they had to the show.

Several workshops are organised during each year. They are perfect for everyone to begin their calligraphic journey while catering for all calligraphers looking to improve their skills.
