Group Information
The Box Hill Art Group Inc. was established in 1952 and since then it has nurtured many thousands of budding artists, as well as stretching the skills of experienced and exhibiting artists. Moreover, we cater for water colours, oils, acrylics, pastels, drawing, life drawings and mixed media.
We offer our members access to lessons, paint outs, art demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions and arts awards.
Newcomers are most welcome.

Membership Information
We offer membership to anyone between 16 and 116 years of age and is available for all levels from beginners to professionals.
The Annual Membership Fee to join the group is $45.00, or $30 if joining after 30 June.

Exhibitions
Our mid year exhibition is held in June at Box Hill Community Art Centre. Awards are presented.

Our 71st Annual Exhibition
This is our major Exhibition for the year. Members of the Whitehorse Arts Association also exhibit with us.
Date: 6 - 8 October 2023
Venue: Box Hill Lower Town Hall
The Annual Exhibition is professionally judged and the Awards are presented at the Exhibition Opening Ceremony.
Exhibiting members, student members and members of Whitehorse Arts Association may contest the awards.
Paintings are for sale at this exhibition.

Untutored workshops - Wednesday Afternoon 1:00 - 3:00
Untutored Life Drawing - One Wednesday and one Saturday Afternoon per month 1:00 - 3:00
Sketch Together Plus Lunch - One Sunday morning per month 10:00 - 2:00
3 Full Day workshops are held on a Saturday during the year, during Term breaks.

All Media - Monday Morning 10:00 – 12:00
Mixed Media - Tuesday Evening 7:30 - 9:30
