Group Information
Brighton Art Society was established in 1978. The Society has a generous studio space on level 2 of the Bayside Arts and Culture Centre in Wilson Street. We offer a wide range of both tutored and untutored groups, workshops and demonstrations by visiting artists and an annual exhibition.
The Society is open to all from Bayside and beyond, who wish to become part of a convivial creative environment.

Membership Information
The Group currently have over 200 members.
The society offers great social occasions, such as an informal BYO “casserole night” at which highlight their members’ art works.
Regular meetings are held by the Committee Members.
Annual membership is $55. ($50 for seniors).

Exhibitions
The Group's Annual Art Show is held over the Melbourne Cup Weekend at the Bayside Arts & Culteral Centre, Wilson Street, Brighton.
Tuition
Workshops
The society conducts small tutored classes and casual untutored groups on most days of the week (except Sundays) and some evenings. Demonstrations and Workshops by guest artists are also conducted throughout the year.
Regular art class terms run for 9 weeks. Forms for class enrolment can be downloaded from their website.
Regular tutors include;
Maxine Wade, Clive Sinclair, Michelle Zuccolo, Elizabeth Paszko, Viva Palegeorge, Stephen Doyle.
