Group Information
The Cairns Art Society (CAS) is North Queensland's leading community art association and continues to go from strength to strength.
With over 300 members, the Society offers an incredible collection of artists working in many mediums, sharing their love for art.
The Society is committed to supporting local artists to reach their potential and to maintaining a vibrant art culture in the tropical North Queensland.
Membership Information
General meetings are held monthly and usually include a Guest Speaker, presenting information or a demonstration on the many facets of art.
Membership benefits include:

- A 10% discount on art materials at Art and Office, Australian Art Framers, Cairns Craft Centre and The Picture Framer.
- Discounted fees for CAS exhibitions and workshops.
- To exhibit art work in their Art Exhibitions.

Exhibitions
The Society's Annual Open Art Exhibition is held at the Cairns Regional Gallery, in November / December.
The Society also hold their Artists of the North Exhibition, which invites all incorporated art societies and associations within the region to participate.

CAS is a vibrant community group who organise workshops, master classes, and many activities, including their annual ARTescape.
