Group Information
The Combined Art Societies of Sydney (CASS) is run by a small group of volunteers who are dedicated and enthusiastic Art Society members.
Their aim is to unite and strengthen the standing of art societies in the community, to gain greater recognition for art societies and to encourage a standard of excellence among individual artists within their societies. CASS currently has twelve member societies.

Exhibitions
Several events are organised for the CASS members throughout each year.
Their main event is the "ART OF SYDNEY AWARDS EXHIBITION" which was traditionally held over the Australia Day long weekend in January at the Australian Maritime Museum, in Darling Harbour. But once COVID-19 restrictions came into effect, this event was held Online only. These Online events were still very successful in terms of sales and the hundreds of artworks displayed from the 12 art societies throughout the wider Sydney Basin including the Bowral and Southern Highlands districts, were still judged and many awards presented.
Now for the first time since the pandemic, the ART OF SYDNEY AWARDS EXHIBITION for 2023 will be held at the Prince Henry Centre, 2 Coast Hospital Road, Little Bay, from the 24th to 26th March. Dario Falzon will judge the artworks this year and the Presentation of Awards will take place on Saturday afternoon, 25th March between 2pm and 4pm.
