Group Information

Hinchinbrook Regional Arts Assoc Inc is a “not for profit” community art group. Our group aims to encourage and promote the creation of art and craft for both sale and pleasure.

Our Cardwell Gallery is located just off the Bruce Highway in beautiful Cardwell by the Sea. We are easy to find in the historic School of Arts building right next to the Cardwell library, within the Cardwell Historic Precinct. Our gallery which is open daily 10am to 2pm (closed Mondays and Public holidays) showcases an ever changing collection of wonderful and unique local art and craft.

Tropical north Queensland is an inspirational place for artists.  We are fortunate to have many talented local artisans who create their works of art in many different ways; from artists in glass, wonderfully imaginative potters, artisans in timber, jewellery makers, wildlife artists, oil painters, artists in acrylic, pastel, water colour and graphite, authors and poets - we are proud to present them all.
