Group Information
Hughesdale Art Group is a small community based group of friends who share the same passion – ART! It was established in 1956 and has been running ever since and celebrated its "6o" years in operation in 2016!
Today it is still enjoying its run and members meet every Friday from 9.45am to 2.30pm for informal painting sessions in the comfort of the Hughesdale Community Centre.

Membership Information
HAGI meets at the Hughesdale Community Centre, on the corner of Poath and Kangaroo Roads in Hughesdale every Friday from 9.45am to 2.30pm.
There are also 'plein-air' painting trips, day trips and workshops organised throughout the year and members are provided with regular newsletters to keep them informed.
Annual membership fee is $35. plus an initial joining fee of $25.

Exhibitions
During the year, HAGI have an exhibition of paintings at the Annual “International Flower and Garden Show” held in Melbourne annually; and showcase some wonderful pieces of members art work at the annual “Cup Week Exhibition”.
Tuition
Workshops
Regular demonstrations by well known artists are held at the Hughesdale Community Centre. For a fee of $5.00 for members and non members alike, are welcome to come along and see the creating of some wonderful art, followed by refreshments.
Regular Art Classes
The group have their regular tutor, Ivan Dinsdale, who conducts weekly painting classes in all mediums at the Hughesdale Community Centre, each Friday from 10.00am to 12.00pm (cost on application).
Artists are encouraged to bring along their painting gear, whether it be watercolours, oil, acrylics or whatever and share the time together for friendship, company and fun!
