Group Information
The Group's aim is to cultivate artistic and cultural life in Southern Tasmania’s rural areas and to foster young and emerging artists. HAEG events give local artists of all abilities a venue to show their work, and an opportunity to meet with artists in the region.

Membership Information
HAEG membership allows you to display and sell up to three pieces of artwork and any number of artist cards in the Lovett Gallery.
Members are also entitled to receive discounts on submission fees to the annual HAEG art exhibitions and a 50% discount on the entry fee for the “Watermark” and “Southern Exposure” art exhibitions run on alternate years by the HAEG.
A short profile of yourself and your artworks can be submitted along with a link to your own website the HAEG website’s “Members” area.
You may also host your own art exhibition in the Lovett Gallery (HAEG curating committee approval required and fees apply – depending on display space requirements.
Commission on sales is at 20% for members who contribute their time by sitting at the Lovett Gallery and HAEG art exhibitions. Otherwise the rate of commission deducted from sales is 30%.
Membership fees;
Membership covers the period from one AGM to the next, i.e. from June to June in the following year and costs $24 per year. New members signing up late in the financial year may pay for the remaining months at $2 per month.

Exhibitions
The Huon Art Exhibition Group (HAEG) has been formed to facilitate a series of artwork exhibitions and competitions to be held regularly each year.
HAEG presents the “Watermark” exhibition on odd-numbered years, and the “Southern Exposure” exhibition on even-numbered years.
In addition to the above exhibitions, the Group also have their own ‘Lovett Gallery’ which is open 10am-4pm (Summer Friday-Sunday, Winter Saturday – Sunday).
