Group Information
Macquarie Towns Arts Society promotes and encourages the advancement of the arts and crafts in the Hawkesbury region.
Their objectives include:
- To promote and encourage the advancement of the arts and crafts in the Hawkesbury region and support any project that has as its aim the furtherance of this ideal.
- To encourage an open mind to all forms of artistic expression with no precedence ever being given to any one school of thought.

Membership Information
Membership of the Society is open to all and membership forms can be downloaded from their website.
Member benefits include:
- Demonstrations, workshops and field painting days with members and invited guests;
- Children’s art classes;
- Exhibitions;
- Social functions.
Cost of Membership full year (1st July – 30th June)
$30 single
$25 Concession (age 65+ or C/link pension)
$35 Family
$30 Concession (age 65+ or C/link pension)
Honorary life membership is granted to any member having served ten years on the committee or for any other reason deemed sufficiently meritorious.
Application for membership should be made in writing on the form provided by the Society. The Society is not required to give any reason for the rejection of an application.
A register of members containing names and contact details of each member of the Society will be kept by the Secretary.

Exhibitions
The Society hold their ‘Spring Affair Exhibition’ towards the end of October each year at the Richmond School of Arts in Richmond, NSW.

Workshops
Demonstrations, workshops, field painting days, Children’s art classes and Exhibitions are organised by the group all year round!
