Group Information
Montague Art & Craft Society Inc. (MACS) was formed by a group of enthusiasts in 1981 to encourage artists and craftspeople in Narooma and surrounds in their creative activity.
MACS Cottage studio and gallery on the hill at Narooma has been MACS ‘home’ since 2007. MACS manage the Cottage under licence from the Narooma School of Art, on behalf of the community.
MACS Cottage provides facilities for artists and craftspeople to practice, learn, share and display their work. Facilities include studio space for classes, workshops and special interest groups, and gallery space for display of work. The Cottage also houses a gallery of Members works, which are available for sale,
The Studio is used daily for special interest groups such as Life Drawing, Chinese Brush painting, Watermedia, Craft, Portrait Painting, and workshops and classes (see Activities). A library of books, magazines and DVDs is also available for members to borrow.

Adults: Annual Membership fee $35 + Joining Fee $10
Juniors (under 18): Annual Membership fee $10 + Joining Fee $1
Distance Membership (more than 100km from Narooma)
Annual Membership fee $25 + Joining Fee $10
Life Member: Annual Membership fee $2

Exhibitions
Several events are organised each year for both members and non-members. Their two main events are held at Easter and in the spring.
