Group Information
The Phoenix Macedon Ranges Art & Craft group was formed after the 1983 Ash Wednesday bushfires which decimated the Macedon Ranges area of Victoria and affected many local artists and craftspeople.
They are a multimedia group with current members interested in a wide range of activities including pottery, painting, sculpture, glassware including jewellery, wood turning and wood crafts, and textiles including spinning and weaving.
The group promotes friendship, learning and interest in arts and crafts in general and helps to produce the motivation to organise exhibitions and sales.
Membership Information
Meetings are held regularly during the year on the first Thursday of the month, presently in Gisborne at the MRFEC.
Each meeting has a formal side, followed by an informal session during which we may discuss latest topics of interest and present examples of latest works.
New members are always welcome. Further information on membership can be found on their website.
