Group Information
The Sherbrooke Art Society was founded in 1966 at the instigation of well-known artist, Jack Montgomery. They moved to their present site in 1971 and they are one of the very few art societies to have their own gallery.
The Sherbrooke Art Society's Gallery is a historically important building formerly known as the Red Mill Cafe nestled in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. They have a constantly changing display of some 300 works of art available for sale. The Gallery is open Wednesday to Monday from 11am to 4pm.
Membership Information
Members can become involved in society events and meetings, compete in monthly competitions as well as learn from experienced tutors and demonstrators. Exhibiting members are also eligible to exhibit their art work in the Society’s Gallery.
