The Victorian Artists Society is for all who engage in and enjoy art. Networking and community are also a valuable part of the Victorian Artists Society experience for artists, art lovers and collectors alike.
With a rich heritage dating back to 1870 they are proud of their contribution to the development of Australian art. With a view of the future framed by quality and versatility, their reputation for the development and promotion of art in the general community will live on.

Membership Information
New and existing members are eligible for art prizes, gain exposure in their exhibitions and enjoy reduced rates on gallery hire and classes. Student $60 no joining fee (students must be full time and 25 years and under); Country $135 (+$50 joining fee the first year); City $160 (+$50 joining fee the first year).

Exhibitions
Art is exhibited continually throughout the year in their five different gallery spaces. The gallery spaces are also available for hire to members, non member artists and art organisations.
Tuition
Regular Art Classes
The VAS painting and sculpture classes cater to art students of all levels across a wide range of mediums including: oil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and gouache. Lessons cover a range of techniques, such as drawing, contemporary, portraiture, landscape, still life and life model.
