Group Information
The Woodend Art Group is located in the Woodend Railway Station building. Our aims are to advance the arts and crafts practiced by its members and stimulate the interest of the community in the arts and crafts.

Membership benefits include:
- Taking part in the Plein Air Painting Group who meet each Tuesday.
- Joining other members on excursions, weekend Painting Trips and Gallery visits.

Membership Fee is currently $60.00 per annum. Membership forms can be downloaded from the website.
Events
Exhibitions
WAG have at least two exhibitions each year. One is held midyear in June to coincide with the Woodend Winter Arts Festival and their main WAG Annual Exhibition is held in November, over the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
Tuition
Workshops
Tutored Classes:
Art Painting Classes are available in Oils, Acrylic and Watercolour. The group also has Drawing classes catering for beginners and experienced artists. After school classes in the Folio Club are also available for children.
Non-tutored Classes:
Life Drawing and Painting Groups meet monthly and a Plein-Air Painting Group meet weekly. Members meet weekly for Social Tuesdays.
Workshops:
Workshops are organised throughout the year for both members and non members.
