Background

Married with four children, Bronwen grew up in Eltham, Victoria.  Her husband’s work has afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively and enjoy a range of diverse experiences on almost every continent.  Her ability to find something beautiful in the everyday, good in the midst of difficulty, or significance in the obscure has resulted in a broad subject range.   Even broader still – and at times representing a source of some frustration – is her enjoyment of several mediums including; glass, pastel, acrylics, scratchboard and of course oils.

After churning out several thousand school lunches and applying more band-aids than she cares to remember, Bronwen has again turned her attention to the canvas and enjoys capturing the sentiment behind many of life’s precious moments: the lost look of an old dog, the warmth of a café, the finest hour of a pond lily or the vast chasm that is the Grand Canyon.
