Background
Gail is an accomplished Sydney artist, who has been painting for over 20 years and exhibits regularly at Hunters Hill Art Gallery in Sydney. Gail's portfolio is eclectic and vibrant; such as her recent colourful and sentimental jazz series to her figurative works called the ‘impression series” where her brushstrokes are fluid, and pieces are expressive and lyrical, some with splashes of red or yellow for effect. Gail likes to explore many themes, art forms and mediums including ceramics to painting landscapes, graffiti, collage, abstracts and figurative works. Gail’s figurative works are dramatic with Gail using Asian ink wash techniques; whereby paintings are rendered fluid, emotional and dramatic in charcoal, amber and chocolate hues.
