Art and drawing have always been very much a part of my life, in my trade for 35 years as a designer and pattern maker in the clothing industry, also doing drawing classes at East Sydney technical college.
I started painting when I moved to Goulburn 20 years ago and have done different mediums including oil, acrylic and pastel. My passion is with watercolour, mainly painting landscapes and birds. I also love painting outside in different places, including 10 days painting in the Red Centre and Queenstown in New Zealand. Over the years I have done many Watercolour workshops with different artists.
I sell my paintings in Exhibitions and venues around the Goulburn area and the ACT, and have won prizes including Best in Show.
As I live on acres outside of Goulburn, I have many native birds around which I love and enjoy painting.
I have been the president of the Goulburn and District Art Society for 6 years and am very involved with organizing painting workshops for the Society.
