Background

Jenine started her art journey learning from her mother who taught her the basics. She has had lessons over years from various professional artists and workshops, trying her hand at pastels, scratchboard and watercolour, but her preferred medium is oils.

Now her artwork is a story told through portraits, the powerful presence of trains, the serenity of landscapes and to the captivating allure of seascapes. The Australian landscape, with its breathtaking beauty, has always held a special place in her heart. She likes to explore a multitude of themes and subjects each with a unique tale to tell. However it's in the realm of wildlife art, particularly Australian birdlife, that my heart finds its truest expression, in attempting to capture the untamed beauty of the natural world.
