Background
Kathy Karas works from her home studio on the south coast of NSW, Australia.
She is inspired to paint in an impressionistic style the landscape, old buildings, figurative and animals in acrylics, oils and watercolour.
Her passion is to paint every day and to share the skills of a lifetime of art by holding weekly classes, workshops and art retreats within Australia and taking art tours to Europe.
Kathy has had several articles published featuring her work in Australian Artist and Artist Palette magazines.
Exhibitions:
Kathy has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions since 2007 and her work is in collections worldwide.
Art Courses:
Kathy holds weekly classes at the Kiama Art Society, NSW.
Workshops:
She further conducts workshops and art retreats within Australia, and also overseas art tours in Europe and on Norfolk Island.
