Lyn has been painting for over 30 years and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and a number of solo exhibitions.
She lived for many years in the Macedon Ranges area and a few years ago relocated to Point Lonsdale on the Bellarine Peninsula. Both locations have provided Lyn with an endless source of inspiration often painting outdoors to capture the natural light of her beautiful surroundings.
After several years of tuition under Gregory R. Smith, Lyn has learnt the benefits of traditional tonal study which she applies to both her still life and landscape paintings. Over the years she has adapted a more impressionist style in her work. Lyn believes in always painting from life, never relying on the use of photographs for reference.
