Background

About my art journey, I started sketching when I was 7 of age, but have never attended any art schools, as growing up to adults we always thought that we unable to earn a living by being an artist, so, I studied fashion design Instead and worked as a fashion buyer for 15 years in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

Later, my husband and I migrated to Australia in 2003 and started business in organic grocery shop in Hobart and started our life here from 2007. I started to meet some people in 2014 who were very interested in art and re-introduced art to me, so I tried watercolour pencil ,but didn’t continue. Only become serious it was 2018, I was inspired by a friend who is painting with her sincerity and moves me to pick up the paint brush. So, since then I became serious about the medium watercolour, just so gentle and soft, and started my painting journey.
