Workshop Description:

A 2 day workshop to be held on the 2nd & 3rd May 2024, with award winning artist, Chan Dissanayake who will demonstrate various techniques using Acrylics.

This workshop will suit intermediate level students who want to extend their knowledge of Acrylics to the next level.  Each student will receive personal attention and encouragement.

Instructor Background:

Chan Dissanayake is a Multi-award winning artist living in Canberra and is also a highly regarded tutor and a well-respected judge of local and regional art awards. Over the last 20 years his passion has turned to watercolour; a medium that thrives in spontaneous response and free expression.

Known for his innovative approach to teaching and generosity in sharing his knowledge, Chan has gained considerable reputation as an outstanding tutor.  He has contributed many articles to leading art publications including International Artist, Australian Artist and Artists Palette.  His quick and direct approach to watercolour has earned him much success and respects both nationally and internationally.
