About This Painting:
Capturing the mood of the forest in the nheavily mossed areas of the Cradle Mountain area of Tasmania. There is mystery when you walk through these places and the constant dampness means lots of moss covering everyhting underfoot and quietening all sounds. A magical place.

Painting on location in this area, freezing cold some mornigns and others with the light trickling through the trees. You cannot help but be inspired.
