About This Painting:
A dramatic oil that captures the feel of the southern coast of Western Australia, a harsh landscape of granite is home to a dazzling array of rare flora. Weirdly the infertile soil makes the region a bio-diversity hot spot.
Inspiration
My influences of early Jackson Pollock, Francis Bacon and Fred Williams evident in this evocative landscape. The coastal areas are monolithic landscapes ground down by eons of erosion from the sea. This particular landscape is the view back from The Gap.

I use Pack & Send for deliveries requiring insurance, I can deliver items to their Penrith, Sydney depot for a nominal fee. Check their website for estimates on cost. Smaller items will be sent via Australia Post at their published rates, their insurance is around 3% to most destinations.
