About This Painting:
I photographed a Spoonbill wading and feeding in the shallow water. It is painted with artist quality oil paints on a stretched canvas. ( It does not require a frame)
Inspiration
The Spoonbill's wings were displayed to form a shadow for catching food. It made a beautiful shape of the sunlit wings. The colour of the water was special. It had to be painted!
