About This Painting:
I painted the sky and sea first, then overlaid the trees on this background. This is all without the use of a thinning medium. In places, there are several layers of dilute colour.
Inspiration
I worked from some photos I took there earlier in the year. I wanted to share with viewers the bracing coolness of a winter wind on a partly sunny day. City Beach is a popular beach in Perth, WA.
