About This Painting:
This painting was painted onsite as an enplein air demonstration in the Cotswalds, England. It was done very quickly so as to achieve a loose and free impression of the scene.
Inspiration
The inspiration for this work was the beautiful light falling across the fields. It was early summer and the light was changing quickly due to the moving clouds so it was important to capture the moment quickly.
