About This Painting:
A young elephant approached our vehicle, acting tough to impress the older elephants...he was followed closely behind by a female relative, who raised her trunk to investigate our scent and decide whether we were a threat or not.
Inspiration
The beautiful afternoon light, dappled shadows on the elephants, and warm and cool colours played off each other, making this a scene that was just asking to be painted.
