About This Painting:
Stylised sailboats and rowing boat on the sea, with geometric cloud shapes and a realistic seagull entering the scene at lower left.
Inspiration
I am trying to get to the essence of the shapes of everyday objects, and at the same time use colours that not only harmonise, but give the painting a shimmer. This is done with overlapping cross-hatched strokes with a fan brush.
