About This Painting:
A composition consisting of areas of solid colour, which are geometrical shapes that combine to suggest a moonlit landscape with two people bathing in a lake.
Inspiration
I started with wide lines representing the basic forms in a landscape, applied colour, then decided it would look good a s a night scene. It needed some focal point, so I inserted shapes to represent two people wading in a lake.
