About This Painting:
This subject is an example of life today, a fashion statement of 2014. Placing the red shoe, placed almost centrally in the composition speaks of stylish confidence surrounded by practicality. This is an example of an everyday moment representing my daily life. What I would wear, what I wish I could still wear and what every eye in the street will look at on whoever is game to purchase this gem.
Inspiration
This red shoe caught my eye where it was displayed in a shop window in Istanbul. The brilliant color and the outrageous height just demanded attention and would only ever be worn by someone totally self assured and supremely confident. I wanted them.
