Inspiration
Jean Garling, my dad's aunt, was active in theatrical circles in Sydney. She trained in ballet and danced with the Lightfoot-Burlakov First Australian Ballet. While serving with the Australian Army during World War II she often enriched camp life in Darwin with her performances. I've sketched and etched her now and then.
