Inspiration

I have been working since 2014 in developing a series of paintings called “Marine World”  with the aim of participating in SALA (South Australian Living Artists Festival) and to exhibit these. The idea behind it, is to raise awareness and educate people in Australia and the world about the marine wildlife, especially endangered species. Illustrating how beautiful and colourful they are can be a way of touching people’s hearths. Sometimes we forget and give for granted what we have but unfortunately corporate greed and hunger for money is rapidly destroying all the natural resources and if we continue this way there will be nothing left for future generations. Australia is one of the most forward thinking countries in the world and has developed a sustainable framework  in conservation and natural resource utilization, it has become an example to follow. However there is a need for more awareness in the public and more lobby in the government in order to strengthen conservationist policies and restrict the depletion of natural resources.

Art is and has been always part of the humanity and will continue until the end.It has a purpose of enjoyment, education and thinking. I have chosen art as means of expressing myself and to cause impact in small social groups, starting with my family and friends and then expanding to the local community and hopefully on day at a national and international level.
