About This Painting:

While on holiday in South Australia my husband and I came a cross this beautiful,little red faced finch. It was so inspiring that I felt I had to paint this adorable bird. Not having my paints with me, I used my camera to capture him. Upon returning to my studio, I set about composing the composition that would best portray this majestic bird.
