About This Painting:
I worked from one of many photos taken on a recent trip to Uluru with my wife. This is the first time I have used a watercolour board, and I am very pleased with the way it takes paint. Colours used were mainly by the manufacturer Schminke and some by Winsor & Newton.
Inspiration
I enjoy being out in the bush. Painting outdoors is my choice of option. However, when I am with other people and need to get a move on, I have to resort to taking reference photos.
