About This Painting:
Barrenjoey is the northern most point of the Sydney Coastline.
It is the southern headland for Broken Bay.
The lookout at the light house is reached by a track leading up from Station Beach.
As you climb and look south you will see a narrow peninsular withe Whale beach and the Pacific on the East and Station beach and Pittwater to the west.
This oil painting on a cradled wood panel is that view.
