Original screenprint and ink wash on paper. Unframed. Hand printed by me at Megalo print Studios in Canberra and the unique ink wash applied in my studio.
Inspiration
We spent the early part of our marriage in Coogee, so it is dear to my heart. This is my interprtation of the Ross Jones Memorial Pool at the base of the Coogee Surf Club. With its iconic blocks. The ink causes waves in the paper. This work can be float framed without a matt board to embrace these waves like the ocean it represents.
