About This Print:
A Whale's Tale represents the duality between modernity and the protection of the environment. Marine life is constantly in danger because of our actions and way of life. I dream of a day where whales and marine life live in harmony with humanity. This work depicts a whale floating over the top corner of Italy swimming over the Adriatic Sea, a mixed technique of lino, foil transfer, and digital layers printed on heavy artist’s quality paper.
Inspiration
Camilo's style is mostly contemporary, with elements of impressionism and modernism. It is a constant evolution of colourful hues and tones that entice the eye of the viewer to see beyond. His oil paintings are full of textures and layers, some people can't resist to touch them, they say "it's like 3D".
