About This Painting:

Inspiration

This painting grew from an instinctive urge rather than a plan. The red ground came first, an unrelenting field that demanded contrast. The darker forms followed, almost like memories surfacing, and then the textured pinks, which seemed to reclaim the painting from its own intensity.

For me, this work is about resilience—the way warmth and vitality reassert themselves even after periods of darkness. It is both a personal reflection and an exploration of energy made visible, a record of movement, heat, and recovery.
